Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the reAImagine Talent platform, operated by Shim Partners Management Consultancy FZCO. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record.

1. Candidate subscription — USD 5 per month

7-day full refund window. If you deactivate your Candidate account within 7 days of your first subscription payment, you are entitled to a full refund of that payment. No questions asked.

To request this refund, email billing@reimagine.work with the subject line “Refund request” from the email address associated with your account. We will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

After the 7-day window, subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard, and your profile will remain published until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be unpublished. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

Renewal payments (monthly recurring charges after the first payment) are not eligible for refund. If you wish to stop being charged, cancel before your renewal date, which is shown in your account dashboard.

2. Client search queries — USD 10 per search

Search query fees are charged at the point of executing a search. Once a search has been executed and results returned, the fee is non-refundable.

If a search fails due to a technical error on our platform and returns no results, we will credit your account with an equivalent search query at no charge. To report a failed search, contact billing@reimagine.work within 48 hours of the failed search.

3. Expert consultation fees — Confidential Mode

Consultation fees are charged in real time upon session completion. Completed sessions are non-refundable.

If a session is terminated before completion due to a technical failure attributable to our platform (for example, Stage Room connectivity failure), we will refund the fee in full or offer a replacement session at no charge, at your discretion. To report a technical failure, contact billing@reimagine.work within 24 hours of the affected session.

If a Candidate fails to attend a scheduled consultation without notice, we will refund the client fee in full. Candidates who repeatedly fail to attend scheduled sessions may be suspended from Confidential Mode.

4. Platform success fees — 8% of contract value

Success fees become due upon confirmation of a placement. Once a placement has been confirmed and the success fee charged, it is non-refundable.

If a placement does not proceed because a Candidate withdraws before the engagement starts, we will credit your account with a voucher equivalent to the success fee paid, redeemable against a future placement fee on the platform within 12 months.

5. How to request a refund

Email billing@reimagine.work with:

  • Your account email address.
  • The date and amount of the payment.
  • The reason for your request.

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and respond with a decision within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks that we determine to be illegitimate may result in account suspension. We are always willing to work with you to resolve billing issues directly.

7. Governing law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Users located in jurisdictions with mandatory consumer refund rights (including EU member states and the United Kingdom) retain those rights in full, and nothing in this policy limits them.
